After having been raised and edumacated in Stony Plain, Alberta, I moved down to Lethbridge pursuing a degree in Computer Sciences as well as starting my own web company, Digital OutHouse. Realizing that my brain was in fact, quite small, I quickly abandoned Computer Sciences after a year and trundled out to Vancouver where I got my Digital Arts certification at the Centre for Digital Imaging and Sound (now known as Ai, I believe).
Satisfied at this point that I might actually be able to make pretty pictures with a computer, I moved out to Victoria and started doing more contract web design. After a year of that interest waned and I felt that a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree would probably be beneficial so I headed back for Lethbridge, this time enrolled in their New Media BFA program. Due to previous schooling and experience the University of Lethbridge was kind enough to give me a years credit towards my program so I finished the degree up right quick-like.
Always having a passion for creating video games, I went back to Vancouver again and worked for Piranha Games as a Game Boy Advance artist. Following my contract there, I came back to Lethbridge (are we noticing some odd trend here?) and worked for the U of L as their Digital Photo / Darkroom Technician and then from there gravitated up to become the U of L's Web and Print Designer.
For the moment, I am contracting design work, drawring animations, creating art assets for a top secret video game for 9-Volt Games, and teaching 3D animation at the Lethbridge Community College.
